MEET LISA FLORES

Meet the mom
behind the story.

Five children. Five Ivy League journeys.
One mom who was there for all of it.

Lisa Flores raised five children in Arlington, Texas, and helped every one of them reach an Ivy League school. Her oldest daughter attended Harvard and went on to earn a Harvard master’s degree. All four sons played college football — three at Dartmouth and one at Columbia.

Direct, determined, and deeply invested in children’s futures, Lisa brings a parent’s hard-earned perspective to college planning. Through her work with Arlington schools and families in Title I schools, she encourages parents to read with their children, stay involved, and see college as a real possibility.

THE APPROACH

Your starting point
isn’t your ceiling.

Your family’s income, background, or familiarity with college should not decide how big your child is allowed to dream. Lisa helps parents turn that belief into everyday involvement and a clearer plan.

  1. 01

    Start with your story

Share where you are in the process, what your student hopes for, and the questions on your mind.

  2. 02

    Find your focus

Identify the decisions and priorities that deserve your attention now.

  3. 03

    Move forward with clarity

Leave the conversation with a clearer sense of your family’s next steps.

Let’s put a plan behind it.

For parents and students at any stage of the college search.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

Before we meet.

Who is this guidance for?

Parents, students, and families looking for a clearer understanding of the college admissions process, including those aspiring to Ivy League schools.

What should we bring to a consultation?

Your questions, your student’s current grade, any colleges you’re considering, and a sense of where you need support. You don’t need to have it all figured out.

What if we’re new to the college process?

You’re welcome here. Lisa works with parents who are still learning what the college journey involves, including families at Title I schools. Start with your questions and the support your child needs today.

Does my child need to be an athlete?

No. Lisa’s family includes both academic and athletic paths. Her parent guidance is for families with a range of interests and goals.

Does counseling guarantee admission?

No. Admissions decisions are made by each college. Lisa’s family experience informs her guidance; it is not a guarantee of admission or a prediction of your student’s results.
